How easy it is to right click and add to favourites everytime you come across a useful page, or sign up to the latest Web 2.0 app. My bookmarks were becoming unruly, untidy and a complete mess. And so I did this, which is step one in the process of organising my bookmarks.

I moved them all into a new folder, called old, and I won’t look at that folder for at least two weeks. I also deleted my browsing history, cleared the cache, the cookies and all stored passwords.

Now I am only adding sites that I am using and have a use for. As this list gets longer I will take the next step, where I begin to categorise these favourites and put them inot new folders.
